Love your pictures. I’d love to visit Jerusalem. Someday… But 25 minute prayers?! I’m a religious person, but unless it’s a personal prayer, even 5 minutes of listening is pushing it—and even if it’s personal I doubt it would very often scratch the edges of 15 minutes. Ay ya! I’m more of a quality not quantity sort of gal.
100% agreed with you on the Westboro Baptist Church—if they can really call themselves a church. I watched the BBC doc on them and shook my head in disbelief and disgust most of the time.

I totally understand ‘the cycle’, so true. Some things/places really are overwhelming and breathtaking, others need a little reflection that makes you want to return.
I only got to spend one night in Haifa and it was recovering after a hectic, kinda disgusting two-day road trip. Would love to go back and see more of the place. I’ve heard such good things!
My favourite thing about Jerusalem (the Jew god shall smite me now) was all the horny army boys! Seriously baby boomers exist because the army boys came back in hoards… once, in Israel that’s like an everyday scenario!
Also try travelling in winter, don’t know about Paris or the US but I was able to climb every tower in Berlin with enough room to do a couple of back flips when I went in November a few years back.
